Under an Albanese Labor Government, local families in Cooma will benefit from investment in two fantastic community ELCs.

Cooma Lambie Preschool Association and Cooma North Preschool provide an invaluable service to the community.

That is why, if elected, an Albanese Labor Government will provide each preschool with a $10,000 grant to enhance their facilities.

Labor is committed to ensuring a better future for working families, and knows just how integral community early learning services are in providing a quality early learning for young children, and supporting parents to work.

Community early learning services like Cooma Lambie Preschool Association and Cooma North Preschool deliver high quality early education to so many young children in the Snowy Monaro, providing them with the best possible start to life.

Often small community services run on tight budgets, and need and deserve additional support to continue their important work.

Labor is committed to supporting local families in Cooma.

If elected, an Albanese Labor Government will continue to invest in local community early learning services.

In addition, an Albanese Labor Government will bring down the cost of child care for 86 per cent of families in the system.

Labor’s child care plan will provide immediate relief for tightening household budgets, ensure more children receive the early education they deserve, and better support parents to work the hours they want and need.
